Where should I start reading the Bible?

FAQs (010)

Jesus is the central character of the Bible so, if you are completely new to reading the Bible, one of the four Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke or John) is a good place to start.

These give four different people's accounts of who Jesus was, what he said and did, his life, death and resurrection.

You will find the gospels at the beginning of the New Testament, about two thirds of the way through the whole Bible.

Most Bibles include an index which will give you the page numbers.
